Job Description

Pixel & Tonic, the team behind Craft CMS, is looking for an experienced Accessibility Engineer to help ensure Craft CMS and its web properties meet accessibility standards. The ideal candidate is experienced with Craft CMS, has a passion for accessibility and making the web more accessible to all users, and is proficient in modern front end web development practices

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Be a part of improving Craft CMS accessibility

  • Work collaboratively with the engineering team to constantly improve Craft CMS and all of Pixel & Tonic’s products

  • Contribute to Craft CMS’s Accessibility blog

  • Travel internationally for conferences and team trips

  • Work remotely from anywhere in the world

  • Have access to all the tools and tech you need to work effectively

You’ll succeed in this role if you:

  • Have experience with Craft CMS

  • Have experience in an accessibility-related role

  • Are familiar with WCAG and ATAG

  • Have experience with CSS and JavaScript

  • Have experience with modern front end technologies and tooling such as PostCSS, Tailwind, Vue, React, and Next.js

  • Are detail-oriented

  • Are proactive

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Are self-motivated and can work independently
