We are looking for an experienced Craft CMS developer to migrate an existing website from Craft CMS 4 to Craft CMS 5.
The site currently contains 600+ entries, multiple sections, and a small number of custom functionalities. The goal is to complete a clean, stable upgrade while improving maintainability and preparing the project for long-term scalability.
Responsibilities
Perform an initial audit of the current Craft CMS 4 project
Define a clear migration strategy to Craft CMS 5
Execute the migration and resolve breaking changes
Update or refactor custom plugins/modules if needed
Optimize and clean up existing code where relevant
Ensure the site is stable and production-ready after migration
Technical Requirements
Strong experience with Craft CMS 4 and Craft CMS 5
Experience migrating existing Craft projects between major versions
Ability to maintain or refactor custom Craft plugins
Experience working with Laravel Forge
Deliverables
Fully functional Craft CMS 5 upgraded project
Updated custom plugins/modules (one) compatible with Craft 5
Migration documentation covering the architecture overview
The documentation will help ensure the project is maintainable and transferable in the future.
