Job Description

We’re looking for a PHP Developer who specialises in Craft CMS and wants to progress and play a key role in helping us grow the Web Development team at our studio in Leigh-on-Sea.

You’ll be an intuitive problem solver, organised and methodical with a genuine passion for building beautifully functional websites.

This is truly an exciting time to get involved with the agency; as we continue to grow at pace. You’ll have the ability to work across multiple projects, including brochure, e-commerce and multilingual sites - with no two days being the same!

What will you be doing?

  • Working as part of a team to deliver new Client and internal projects
  • Helping to maintain legacy websites written in a mixture of PHP, Laravel and Craft
  • Working collaboratively with the design and strategy teams to deliver effective solutions
  • Providing estimates for new feature requirements/deliverables
  • Proactively suggesting improvements to workflows and tools

What do you need?

  • Prior experience of Craft and ideally Commerce
  • Experience in developing bespoke CP features
  • Javascript, Node & Vue or React
  • PHP
  • GIT
  • Strong CSS/SCSS skills, ideally Tailwind and PostCSS
  • Strong Linux/LEMP server knowledge
  • Cloud hosting knowledge e.g. DigitalOcean, Forge, AWS
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Clear communication skills at all times
  • To be motivated, driven and keen to push ahead in your development career

Bonus points if you have...

  • Agency experience
  • Experience integrating Payment Gateways and/or 3rd Party APIs
  • Performance optimisation
  • Sketch and Adobe Suite experience
  • Released a Craft Plugin
