We’re looking for a PHP Developer who specialises in Craft CMS and wants to progress and play a key role in helping us grow the Web Development team at our studio in Leigh-on-Sea.
You’ll be an intuitive problem solver, organised and methodical with a genuine passion for building beautifully functional websites.
This is truly an exciting time to get involved with the agency; as we continue to grow at pace. You’ll have the ability to work across multiple projects, including brochure, e-commerce and multilingual sites - with no two days being the same!
What will you be doing?
- Working as part of a team to deliver new Client and internal projects
- Helping to maintain legacy websites written in a mixture of PHP, Laravel and Craft
- Working collaboratively with the design and strategy teams to deliver effective solutions
- Providing estimates for new feature requirements/deliverables
- Proactively suggesting improvements to workflows and tools
What do you need?
- Prior experience of Craft and ideally Commerce
- Experience in developing bespoke CP features
- Javascript, Node & Vue or React
- PHP
- GIT
- Strong CSS/SCSS skills, ideally Tailwind and PostCSS
- Strong Linux/LEMP server knowledge
- Cloud hosting knowledge e.g. DigitalOcean, Forge, AWS
- A keen eye for detail
- Clear communication skills at all times
- To be motivated, driven and keen to push ahead in your development career
Bonus points if you have...
- Agency experience
- Experience integrating Payment Gateways and/or 3rd Party APIs
- Performance optimisation
- Sketch and Adobe Suite experience
- Released a Craft Plugin
