We’re looking for a full-stack developer who loves open source software to join our website marketing team as not only a developer, but as strategic technical partner. In this role you’ll have great company-wide visibility as the owner of our new marketing CMS setup and drive the migration, platform development, optimization and maintenance of our website. You’ll also help create great customer and prospect facing tools based on proprietary Toast data (like our Food Cost Calculator: and partner on a wide variety of front-end development initiatives that drive revenue and growth. As a cross-functional marketing resource, you’ll be empowered to help prioritize our team efforts based on your technical expertise.


If you’ve been frustrated with legacy web platforms and longed to build something new from the ground up on open source software Toast is the place for you. This role is about setting the tech foundation for a successful, scalable website instead of being constrained by legacy technology. Your passion for web development will help us relaunch our website and integrate with an ever-growing tech stack. The perfect candidate for this role stays up to date on new web development trend, loves websites and building digital experiences. 



  • Lead setup and platform optimization of our new marketing website CMS Craft
  • Drive the creation of completely new digital experiences and restaurant tools like our Food Cost Calculator
  • Own relationships with vendors such as web hosts and CDN platforms
  • Be the technical expert on projects collecting and storing user information in databases
  • Assist with front-end development projects such as building revenue calculators and a/b tests
  • Knowledge of TWIG Templating


  • 5+ years of experience in website development
  • High proficiency with JavaScript, PHP, SQL
  • GitHub Portolio with working examples
  • Proven track record of building, configuring and maintaining websites on Craft CMS
  • Expert knowledge of Rest APIs


  • Experience maintaining enterprise-facing SaaS websites
  • Experience with leveraging vendor APIs to integrate data across products like SalesForce
  • Experience with cloud web services (AWS, Heroku)
  • Experience with OAuth2
