Description

We are looking for a front-end developer with a passion for standards and best practices to help assist on some of our most challenging projects to date. You will help maintain existing client-side applications as well as architect new systems. We currently have several Angular applications built on top of Laravel and Craft CMS. The client-side and server-side applications are completely decoupled, but basic knowledge of PHP is beneficial and is preferable.

This is an on-site, full time position at our Winston-Salem, NC office.

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Be yourself. You do you.
• 3-5 years web development experience
• Passion for web standards and best practices
• Maintaining and refactoring existing applications
• Developing with a mobile first, adaptive/responsive mindset
• Engineering client-side applications that are modular and maintainable

Required Skills

• Experience with at least one modern client-side JavaScript framework (AngularJS, Ember, Vue, React, etc)
• Working knowledge of JavaScript task runners (Gulp, Grunt)
• Utilization of CSS pre-processors (SASS, SCSS, LESS)
• Integration of RESTful APIs
• Understanding of version control (git)
• Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Lumen, Slim, etc)
• Knowledge of CMS integration (Craft, ExpressionEngine, WordPress, etc.)
• Ability to create assets from Photoshop designs

Plus +

• Experience with Linux server administration
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, Rackspace Cloud Services, Heroku, Dokku and/or Pivotal Web Services
• Understanding of or interest in the following: Webpack, ES2015, TypeScript, SMACSS, BEM
