About CodeKnight

CodeKnight is the freelance practice of Daryl Knight, a British Craft CMS specialist and front-end developer based in Finland, serving clients across the UK, US, and beyond. Building websites since 2009, Daryl brings a broad skill set that goes well past front-end code: he takes on roles as development team lead, client liaison, QA tester, accessibility specialist, and go-to troubleshooter for urgent fixes. His work spans everything from coordinating multi-national client teams and rebuilding broken sites to e-commerce builds, server setup, and ongoing site maintenance, with deep, long-standing expertise in Craft CMS.
What sets CodeKnight apart is a focus on direct, responsive communication paired with technical reliability. Daryl works to keep clients firmly in the loop, follows best practices and accessibility standards, and offers straightforward, easy-to-manage control panels so businesses aren't left dependent on a developer for every small change. He's known for building lasting working relationships, staying available for ongoing support, and giving honest, no-nonsense advice, even when that means telling a client a cheaper or different approach would serve them better.
