Terms of Service

What you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.

Last updated October 10, 2026

Work With Craft is a jobs board for the Craft CMS community, run by Double Secret Agency, LLC. By using this site, you agree to these terms.

We've done our best to keep them short, and written in plain English.

The Short Version

  • Be honest. Post real Jobs, describe yourself accurately, and don't pretend to be someone else.
  • Everything public is reviewed by a real person before it appears.
  • You own what you post. You give us permission to display it, and that's all.
  • We aren't part of the hire. We help people find each other, and the rest is up to you.

Your account

One person, one account

You'll need an account to post a Job, list a Developer profile, or send a message. Each account belongs to one person, not to their employer.

Please give a real email address that you control, and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for anything that happens under your account, so let us know right away if you think someone else is using it.

You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live.

Company teams

Each person on a Company's team is an Owner, a Manager, or a Member:

  • Owners can do everything, including adding other Owners and deleting the Company.
  • Managers can edit the Company, post and pay for Jobs, manage the team, and send messages on the Company's behalf.
  • Members appear on the Company's public page, and that's all.

Every Company always has at least one Owner.

What you post

You own it

Your profile, Job posts, Company details, and messages are yours. By posting them here, you give us permission to store and display them as part of running the site.

Approved Job posts may also be shared beyond this site, including the #jobs channel of the official Craft CMS Discord, and our email announcements.

It has to be accurate

Job posts must be for real, currently open roles at the Company named. Developer profiles must accurately describe you. If you post on behalf of a Company, you need their permission to do so.

It has to be yours to post

Only upload images, logos, and text that you have the right to use.

Moderation

Everything gets reviewed

Every Job post, Developer profile, and Company is reviewed by a real person before it goes public. See the Moderation page for more details.

If something isn't approved

We'll email you to explain why. You can edit it and resubmit as many times as you need, at no extra cost.

We can remove anything

We may decline or remove any content, or suspend any account, that breaks these terms. If we remove a Job post because it broke these terms, it won't be refunded.

Paying for a Job post

A Job post costs $149 USD, paid once. There's no subscription, and nothing renews. Current pricing is always on the Pricing page.

Payments are handled by Stripe, and Stripe sends your receipt.

  • A Job post stays live for up to a year, counted from the day it's approved. Time spent waiting for review doesn't count against it.
  • You can hide and relist a Job post at any time, but the year keeps running while it's hidden.
  • Everything else is free, including Developer profiles, Company pages, and messaging.

Refunds

Refunds are available if a Job post isn't a good fit for Work With Craft. A refunded Job post is taken down, and can't be relisted.

Price changes

We may change our prices. A Job post you've already paid for keeps its full year.

Messaging

Developers and Companies can message each other directly, without sharing their email addresses. See the Messaging System page for how it works.

Please use it to talk about work. Don't use it for sales pitches, recruiting for roles that aren't posted here, or anything you wouldn't say to someone's face.

To prevent spam, there's a daily limit on how many new conversations you can start. Replies are never limited. Trying to get around the limit, or automating messages, may cost you your account.

If someone has turned off messaging, please respect that.

You can block anyone, and they won't be notified. You can also report a conversation, and a moderator will review it.

Things you may not do

  • Post a Job that doesn't exist, or that you aren't authorized to post.
  • Use the site to advertise anything other than work.
  • Post spam, or create a profile or Company just to promote a product, service, or website.
  • Scrape the directories, or harvest personal information from them.
  • Create accounts automatically, or run multiple accounts as the same person.
  • Impersonate another person or Company.
  • Post anything unlawful, discriminatory, or abusive.
  • Try to break, overload, or gain access to any part of the site that isn't yours.

What we don't promise

We run a jobs board, and that's where our role ends. We can't promise that you'll get hired, that a Job post will attract applicants, or that anyone you meet here will be a good fit.

We aren't a party to anything that happens after an introduction. Interviews, contracts, and payments are entirely between you and the other side. We aren't an employment agency, and we don't take a fee from any hire.

We do our best to keep the site running and your data safe, but we can't guarantee either. We aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost work, lost revenue, or a hire that didn't happen. Nothing here limits any liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Leaving

You can delete your account at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what gets deleted, and what stays.

Changes to these terms

The date at the top of this page shows when these terms were last updated. If we make a change that significantly affects you, we'll email you before it takes effect. If you keep using the site after that, you're agreeing to the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
