About

I’m a Craft CMS product engineer and design technologist with more than 20 years of experience building digital products, platforms and design systems.
I design and develop Craft CMS solutions end to end, from product definition, UX and content architecture through custom plugin development, integrations, front-end implementation and production delivery.
Over the past year, I have built a suite of 21 Craft CMS plugins, with seven currently available in the Craft Plugin Store. These cover search, analytics, redirects, logging, content operations, form experiences and reusable control-panel functionality.

My technical stack includes PHP, Yii, Twig, Composer, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Astro, Tailwind CSS, SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker and modern AI-assisted development workflows using Codex and Claude.
I can take ownership of a complete project, build a specific plugin or integration, or work alongside an existing agency, design or engineering team. I work remotely with clients internationally and communicate fluently in English and German.

Canvas Studio - Visual Page Builder for Craft CMS

Canvas Studio is a visual page builder for Craft CMS that enables content and marketing teams to create flexible pages using reusable, brand-controlled components.

I created the product strategy, UX, design-token and component architecture, Craft control-panel experience, plugin engineering and delivery workflow. It combines visual editing with structured content, responsive controls, accessibility and design-system guardrails, giving editors creative flexibility without sacrificing brand consistency or maintainability.

Search Manager - Multiengine Search for Craft CMS

Search Manager is a complete search platform for Craft CMS, providing a consistent integration layer across seven different search backends.

I designed and built the plugin architecture, control-panel experience, configuration system, APIs and front-end search widget. It enables teams to index and search Craft content without tightly coupling the website to a single search provider.

The plugin supports structured indexing, configurable content sources, multilingual content, search APIs and reusable front-end implementation, allowing projects to adopt the search technology that best fits their scale and infrastructure.

Ali Alghanim & Sons - Multibrand Automotive Platform

A multilingual Craft CMS automotive platform bringing multiple brands, vehicle catalogues, offers, ownership services and corporate content into one consistent experience.

I led the UX, content architecture, interface design and technical delivery, creating structured systems for vehicles, specifications, models, offers, locations, enquiries and after-sales services.

The platform integrates Craft CMS with custom APIs, CRM workflows, analytics and supporting operational systems. Its reusable component architecture enables individual brands and business units to maintain distinct content while preserving shared standards for accessibility, performance and editorial governance.

Translation Manager - Localization for Craft CMS

Translation Manager centralizes localization of Craft CMS interface strings and Formie and Freeform forms across multiple languages.

I designed and built the complete control-panel experience and plugin architecture, including automatic string capture, smart deduplication, locale mapping, translation review, import and export, coverage reporting, backups and RTL support.

It replaces scattered PHP language files, deployments and form-specific translation settings with one governed workflow. Approved translations are compiled into the native files Craft uses, while APIs support translation access in headless and mobile experiences.

Redirect Manager - Redirect Governance for Craft CMS

Redirect Manager is a redirect governance and 404 recovery system built specifically for Craft CMS.

I designed and developed the plugin architecture and control-panel experience, including multiple URL-matching methods, automatic redirect creation when content moves, 404 monitoring, privacy-first analytics, bulk import and export, validation and backup safeguards.

It gives content and technical teams one reliable place to manage redirects, recover broken journeys and protect search visibility during content changes, redesigns and large website migrations.

ShortLink Manager - Branded Links and QR Codes

ShortLink Manager is a self-hosted link management platform for Craft CMS, providing branded short URLs, dynamic QR codes, custom domains and privacy-conscious click analytics.

I designed and built the plugin architecture, Craft element type, control-panel workflows and reporting experience. Links can be organized into folders, assigned campaign metadata, updated without changing the published short URL or QR code, and analyzed directly inside Craft.

It gives organizations ownership of their branded links and campaign data without depending on a separate hosted link service.

Al Hatab Foods - Craft CMS and Mobile Platform

A bilingual English and Arabic digital platform connecting a Craft CMS 5 website with native mobile applications, rewards, product content, store discovery and enterprise systems.

I led the product, UX, system architecture and technical delivery across the customer-facing experiences and supporting integrations. Craft CMS provides centralized content and configuration for both web and mobile, while custom APIs connect the platform to SAP, customer data, loyalty, messaging and marketing systems.

The platform includes structured product content, search, multilingual and RTL support, store location services, customer profiles, rewards balances and history, vouchers, notifications, analytics and reusable editorial workflows.
